DRAMA

“I’ve been making presentations

since I was just a little kid.”

It can’t be achieved with just words alone. Neither can you portray drama with mere visuals. To truly achieve drama, you must have both words and pictures.

You must have LexiGraphics. You must have a pro. LexiGraphics.pro.

THE WORDS AND PICTURES EXPERT

I am Dale Thomas Rowett, owner of LexiGraphics.Pro. My parents were college students in the sleepy village of Nyack-on-Hudson when they brought newborn me to their apartment in the basement of a very large house three doors down from the home of actress Helen Hayes. The house where we lived was perched

on a  cliff overlooking the Hudson River, so there was no back yard, but the side yard commanded a breathtaking view of the Tappan Zee Bridge in the final stages of completion. In the night mist, the bridge’s lights looked like a three-mile string of glowing pearls laid in an elongated “S” across the river.

Since then, I have lived in large cities and small towns, even a hamlet with a population of 56. For business or pleasure, I have spent time in Canada, Mexico and forty-two of the contiguous states, including residence in New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Oklahoma and Arkansas. This short-term and long-term lived experience has given me a unique perspective on what it means to be American.

I attended small schools and large schools, completing my training in advertising design and management at New York

University, along with numerous training experiences in business organization and management.

The first half of my career was spent in retail, at mass-market chain stores, including Montgomery Ward, Sears, and Dillards; at Leggett, a high-end department store group as well as the discount chain, TG&Y Stores. With those companies, I served in various roles, including advertising manager, interior design consultant, store operations manager, merchandise buyer/manager, packaging designer, store designer and visual merchandising director.

After a five-year interlude in architectural design, I turned my focus to graphic design and publishing. At a division of Time/Life books, I designed direct mail packages and eventually designed a series of lifestyle craft books, all of which were immediate bestsellers. At a full-service creative agency, I designed and wrote publications geared toward tourism. Additionally, I produced graphics and wrote copy for print advertising and websites on behalf of clients as varied as municipal agencies, pet food producers, banks and financial institutions, manufacturers of car wash equipment and power distribution transformers.

My life’s broad experience has afforded me opportunities to meet and interact with people from dramatically varied walks of life. I count among my friends and associates such individuals as visual artists, professional cowboys, singers from rock to jazz to opera, actors, entertainers, a pipe organist who played for silent films, politicians, a TV chef, military and law enforcement officers, cosmetics celebrities, famous fashion designers, sinners and saints.

What does this mean to you, my client? It means that I can easily relate to you, understand your product or service and identify with the audience you want to reach. That’s why you should get in touch with me to discuss your next project.
